Each company's latest titles and flagship games will be showcased on gaming monitors equipped with Samsung Display's QD-OLED technology.
At the Capcom booth, visitors will have a chance to preview upcoming titles such as "Onimusha: Way of the Sword," and the action role-playing game "Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen." Other featured titles include "Pragmata," "Street Fighter 6," and "Mega Man: Dual Override." For these game experiences, a total of 90 QD-OLED gaming monitors will be deployed, including the EVNIA "32MN8900," the GIGABYTE "MO32U24," and the MSI "MAG 321UP QD-OLED X24."
At the KRAFTON booth, new games such as "Project ZETA," "Age Twisters," and "TARAE: The Unbound" can be experienced on 85 Alienware QD-OLED gaming monitors, including the "AW2725Q (4K)," "AW3225QF (4K)," and "AW2726DM (QHD)." The booth will also feature a video introducing the premium technology brand "QD-OLED Penta Tandem," which trademarks the five-stack QD-OLED structure.
At the CD PROJEKT RED booth, the trailer for "Songs of the Past," the third expansion pack for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt," will be shown on eight QD-OLED TVs. Visitors can also watch gameplay demonstrations utilizing QD-OLED displays on three monitors. Samsung Display aims to vividly deliver the immersive dark fantasy world unique to "The Witcher" by leveraging perfect blacks, high contrast, and rich color reproduction.
QD-OLED displays provide a rapid 0.03-millisecond (ms) response time, allowing dynamic scenes to be rendered with exceptional clarity. The self-emissive technology enables perfect blacks, while quantum dot technology ensures high color purity and wide color range, faithfully depicting everything from subtle dark details to vibrant hues. This combination maximizes both the immersive experience and enjoyment of gaming.
Especially notable at this event, Samsung Display announced it will begin full-scale mass production within the year of a 24.5-inch FHD (1920x1080 resolution) QD-OLED panel, designed specifically for first-person shooters (FPS) and the esports market. The 24.5-inch size is the preferred standard for esports professionals and competitive gamers, as it allows for rapid overall screen scanning, precise control, and quick decision-making. Many global PC manufacturers are also planning to launch a wide range of new 24.5-inch QD-OLED monitor models from Samsung Display within this year.
