Chairman Han Myunghoon of the Ansan City Council attended the "36th Ansan Business Awards Ceremony," commemorating the 53rd Commerce Day, held in the Great Hall of the Ansan Chamber of Commerce on the 26th, where he encouraged businesspeople who have contributed to the development of the local economy.

View original imageOn this day, Chairman Han presented the Ansan City Council Chairman's Award to four individuals: Park Min-kyu, Senior Manager at Kwangsin Gear Co., Ltd.; Hwang Ho-dong, Manager at Geumseong ENC Co., Ltd.; Kim Jin-sung, Deputy General Manager at Apass Co., Ltd.; and Jin Yu-sik, Department Head at Chemtrust Co., Ltd. They were recognized for their contributions to the local economy and the advancement of commerce and industry through their active business endeavors.
In his congratulatory remarks, Chairman Han stated, "The reason Ansan has been able to grow into a leading industrial city representing Korea is thanks to the sweat and effort of businesspeople who have led enterprises and protected the local economy amid countless challenges."
He went on to say, "Although difficulties at the business sites are increasing due to rapid changes in the industrial environment and internal and external economic uncertainties, I believe that the experience and capabilities accumulated by Ansan's businesspeople will turn these crises into new opportunities."
Chairman Han added, "The City Council will listen even more closely to the voices from the field to ensure that the capabilities of our business community lead to enhanced industrial competitiveness for Ansan and vitalization of the local economy."
