Broadcaster Park Suhong has personally apologized, stating there is "no excuse," after reports surfaced that he delayed a flight for nearly an hour by first expressing his intention to disembark due to his child crying on the plane, but then reversing that decision, sparking controversy over causing inconvenience to others.

At that time, it was reported that when Park Suhong's young daughter continued to cry on board, the family conveyed their intention to leave the aircraft. In response, the airline began offloading the family’s checked baggage which had already been stowed. However, when the child stopped crying during this process, Park Suhong’s family reversed their decision and requested to reboard.
The airline allowed them to reboard and reloaded the previously offloaded baggage back onto the aircraft. This process resulted in the flight being delayed by about one hour, during which Park Suhong’s party reportedly apologized to the other passengers. There were around 200 passengers on the flight in question.
This incident triggered a wave of criticism online. Netizens commented, "Park Suhong is disappointing," "Is this the privilege of being a celebrity?" "Would this have been possible for an ordinary person?" "I used to like him, but not anymore," "All this just because a child was crying?" "He had a good image, but now he’s become a nuisance," and similar reactions.
Park Suhong: "Flustered and Made an Immature Decision, I Sincerely Apologize"
As the controversy grew, on the 26th, Park Suhong posted on his social media, "Recently, there was a delayed departure caused by my family during the flight boarding process. We caused significant inconvenience by taking precious time away from many people and also caused trouble for the airline staff. I bow my head and sincerely apologize."
He also directly explained the situation in question. Park Suhong said, "I panicked and made an immature decision because my child was crying so uncontrollably that we couldn’t even get seated right after boarding." He added, "I notified the cabin crew of our intention to disembark, thinking that my child's crying during the long flight might cause even greater discomfort to the other passengers."
