Kyowon StartOne Expands Logistics Automation and Strengthens Fulfillment Business
Focusing on Cosmetics, Beauty, and Other Sectors
Kyowon StartOne, the logistics subsidiary of Kyowon Group, announced on the 26th that it will expand investments in logistics automation equipment and strengthen its fulfillment business.
Kyowon StartOne is gradually introducing a 3D automatic sorter (3D sorter), order-based automatic sorting system (T sorter), autonomous mobile robots (AMR), and smart automatic sealing machines. By also reinforcing system integration, the company is improving logistics operational efficiency. Based on these efforts, Kyowon StartOne plans to expand its fulfillment business with a focus on the cosmetics, beauty, and fashion sectors.
Since 2024, Kyowon StartOne has been advancing logistics automation and the sophistication of its fulfillment operations. Following last year’s deployment of 3D sorters and T sorters, the company introduced AMRs at its Paju logistics center this year. Last month, it further enhanced automation of product packaging and sealing processes by adding a smart automatic sealing machine.
Afterwards, the company completed system development and integrated testing to connect its warehouse management system (WMS), AMRs, and automatic sealing machines. Kyowon StartOne has established a smart logistics operation base that connects key processes—including product sorting, transportation, picking, packaging, and sealing—within a single system. Next month, the company plans to introduce AMRs at its Anseong logistics center and pursue the adoption of a Smart Bagger to automate product packaging and sealing.
Looking ahead, Kyowon StartOne also plans to establish an intelligent fulfillment operation system by integrating logistics data with artificial intelligence (AI). By leveraging AI, the company aims to predict volumes, support selection of products for advanced picking and packaging, and help optimize workforce planning.
