LG Electronics Begins Second-Half Recruitment for New Employees... Securing Talent in Robotics and HVAC for Future Growth

LG Electronics is launching its recruitment of new university graduates for the second half of the year, seeking to drive future growth in new businesses such as robotics and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC).
According to the industry on August 26, LG Electronics will be accepting applications for the second half of the year through the LG Group’s official recruitment portal, 'LG Careers,' until September 13.
This round of recruitment will cover all key divisions, including Home Appliance Solutions (HS), Home Entertainment (MS), Vehicle component Solutions (VS), and Air Solution (ES), as well as major organizations such as the Korean Sales Division and Manufacturing Technology Institute.
The recruitment fields span a total of 12 roles, including research and development (R&D) positions such as robotics, manufacturing technology, electrical and electronic engineering, and mechanical engineering, as well as sales and marketing, supply chain management (SCM), purchasing, manufacturing, quality, finance, human resources, and business and strategic planning. In particular, LG Electronics plans to concentrate hiring in core areas that will lead the company’s future growth, such as robotics, mobility, smart factories, and HVAC.
The company will also carry out a broad range of domestic and international outreach activities to attract top talent. Starting with the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) on August 31, LG Electronics will visit 12 major universities nationwide, including Seoul National University, Korea University, Sungkyunkwan University, Sogang University, Hanyang University, Yonsei University, Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST), Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology (DGIST), Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH), Pusan National University, and Kyungpook National University, holding offline recruitment counseling sessions with current employees and human resources staff.
Additionally, to secure global R&D talent at the master's and doctoral levels, LG Electronics will hold recruitment briefings at six universities in North America—including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Carnegie Mellon University, University of Michigan, Purdue University, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and University of Wisconsin-Madison—starting September 9.
