Jeonjin Construction Robot Completes On-Site Verification of Concrete Distribution Robot "D-MCR"
Jeonjin Construction Robot, a specialist in concrete pump trucks (CPC) under the MOTEK Group, announced on August 26 that it has completed on-site verification of its self-developed concrete distribution robot, D-MCR.
Jeonjin Construction Robot conducted on-site demonstration of D-MCR from July 15 to August 25 at the Jeonbuk Gunsan Korea Institute of Construction Machinery and Technology Test Evaluation and Certification Center.

The on-site verification took place from July 15 to August 25 at the Test and Evaluation Certification Center of the Korea Construction Equipment Research Institute in Gunsan, Jeonbuk. The company validated the D-MCR’s core functions, including remote driving, autonomous operation, map creation of the work area, obstacle detection, and safety control. The demonstration results will be reflected in the development and performance enhancement of mass-production models.
This verification focused on confirming whether key functions required for concrete distribution—especially the movement and work processes—could be reliably implemented in an actual work environment. The D-MCR was developed as a construction robot to automate concrete distribution tasks at plants and large-scale construction sites, replacing repetitive and high-risk processes to improve productivity and operational safety.
With increasing labor shortages, an aging workforce, and stricter industrial safety regulations in the construction industry, interest in automation and unmanned technologies at construction sites is rising. As a result, demand for construction robots is expected to expand gradually.
The company is also developing a variety of construction robots, including automated concrete placement equipment, separate-type distributors, screeds, and finishers. Moving forward, the company plans to further enhance product performance, expand on-site application, and strengthen competitiveness in the smart construction solutions business through joint development with the Motrex consortium.
