Gyeonggi Province Expands Eco-Friendly Agricultural Products Support for Pregnant Women by 7,500 Recipients
Gyeonggi Province will be accepting additional applications for the 'Eco-Friendly Agricultural Products Support Program for Pregnant Women' until September 8.
The Eco-Friendly Agricultural Products Support Program for Pregnant Women is a project designed to reduce the burden of purchasing eco-friendly agricultural products for pregnant women and new mothers, while supporting healthy food consumption. Eligible recipients can select from a range of eco-friendly certified products—including organically grown agricultural products, pesticide-free agricultural products, organic processed foods, animal welfare certified items, and antibiotic-free livestock products—through an online shopping mall and have them delivered directly to their homes.
Applicants must be women who have given birth on or after January 1, 2025, or currently pregnant women as of the application date, with a registered address in one of 25 eligible cities or counties within the province. The remaining 6 out of the total 31 cities/counties are excluded from this round of applications because their participant quotas were filled during the previous application period.
The additional number of recipients to be selected is approximately 7,500. Based on the recruitment scales allocated to each city and county, participants will be chosen either through a lottery system or on a first-come, first-served basis.
