Song Kang and Kim So-hyun Reunite After 5 Years in "White Scandal"
A Fake Romance Begins
Helmed by Director Kim Cheol-gyu
Actors Song Kang and Kim So-hyun will reunite as romantic leads after five years.
On August 25, MBC announced the production of a new Friday-Saturday drama titled "White Scandal," with Song Kang and Kim So-hyun as the main stars. The two previously worked together in Netflix's "Love Alarm" Seasons 1 and 2 from 2019 to 2021.
Based on a webtoon of the same name, "White Scandal" tells the story of a third-generation chaebol heir who does not want to inherit the family business and a former child actress whose career has plummeted. The two begin a fake relationship, each with their own ulterior motives, and unexpected events unfold.
Song Kang will play Dan Ihyuk, who leads a double life as both a top star and a chaebol heir. Kim So-hyun will portray Ji Eunseol, a once-promising child actress who is now working as a manager.
