Helmed by Director Kim Cheol-gyu
Actors Song Kang and Kim So-hyun will reunite as romantic leads after five years.
On August 25, MBC announced that it will produce a new Friday-Saturday drama titled "White Scandal," starring Song Kang and Kim So-hyun. The two previously worked together in seasons 1 and 2 of the Netflix series "Love Alarm" from 2019 to 2021.
"White Scandal," based on the webtoon of the same name, tells the story of a third-generation chaebol actor who does not want to inherit the family fortune and a fallen child star. The two characters begin a fake relationship to deceive others, setting the stage for a series of events.
Song Kang will play Dan I-hyeok, who leads a double life as a top star and a member of a chaebol family. Kim So-hyun will portray Ji Eun-seol, who was once a promising child actor but has since become a manager.
