Yeongdeungpo District to Operate "Travelling On-site Resident Consultation Office" Across 18 Neighborhoods
Direct Communication by the District Mayor at Field Sites
On August 25, the Yeongdeungpo District Office in Seoul (Mayor Yujin Cho) announced that it will operate an "On-site Resident Consultation Office" from August 24 to October 21, engaging directly with residents at field locations.

The aim is to meaningfully incorporate this feedback into the district’s governance and budget planning.
The mayor, along with local city and district council members, key representatives of specialized organizations, residents, and relevant department heads, will be present at these sessions. They plan to provide immediate answers to residents’ questions and seek solutions together for the issues and suggestions that are raised.
The district office plans to prioritize projects—among those proposed on-site—that are validated for feasibility and deemed necessary, by reflecting them first in the formulation of next year’s main budget. Through this, their goal is to achieve tangible policy outcomes that residents can experience in their daily lives.
Additionally, the district continues to promote a variety of field communication activities, such as “Parent Communication Meetings” for parents at elementary, middle, and high schools in the region; “Open Meetings for Apartment Complex Residents”; and communication sessions for residents in redevelopment and reconstruction areas, including “Resident Consultation Meetings on Maintenance Projects.”
