Gyeonggi Province to Host "Semiconductor Company Job Fair" at Suwon Convention Center on August 27-28
Gyeonggi Province will host the “Semiconductor Company Job Fair” at the Suwon Convention Center on August 27 and 28, 2026.
This job fair will be held as an affiliated event within this year’s Advanced Semiconductor Packaging Show (ASPS). More than 20 semiconductor companies from the province will participate, offering a variety of employment support programs for young job seekers, including recruitment consultations and company information sessions.
The event is organized by Gyeonggi Province and co-hosted by the Institute for Convergence Technology and the Korea Semiconductor Industry Association. The programs have been designed not only to provide basic recruitment information but also to enable direct communication between corporate recruiters and job seekers, allowing participants to assess and strengthen their job readiness competencies.
On the first day, August 27, nine semiconductor companies—including Carewell Solutions, KC Tech, and ChipsK—will, under the supervision of the Institute for Convergence Technology, conduct recruitment consultations and one-on-one interviews. Professional career consultants will review applicants’ self-introduction letters and provide tailored feedback, while special lectures will detail the job competencies and hiring strategies semiconductor companies are looking for. The fair will also offer mock interviews utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) to help participants prepare for real interviews.
The fair will also feature side events to support job preparation. Participants can take professional photographs suitable for their resumes and receive personal color analysis to find colors that suit them. The event is expected to provide practical assistance to young people preparing for careers in the semiconductor field, as all aspects—including corporate consultations, self-introduction letter reviews, and interview practice—can be experienced in one venue.
On August 28, under the supervision of the Korea Semiconductor Industry Association, eleven semiconductor companies—including WONIK IPS, KLA, and Zeus—will hold company recruitment sessions, introducing their hiring areas, the qualities they seek in candidates, and other relevant information. The fair will also provide concrete details such as recruitment plans and application procedures, and direct recruitment consultations between company representatives and job seekers will continue.
