"Never Experienced This in My Aviation Career": Crew Shocked as Stranger Unexpectedly Enters First-Class Suite
740,000-Subscriber YouTuber Experiences Theft in First-Class Cabin
"Even Onboard, Keep Your Valuables Secure"
A South Korean travel YouTuber, accustomed to flying in ultra-luxurious first-class seats on foreign airlines, found himself in a bizarre situation when he experienced back-to-back incidents of unauthorized entry and theft by another passenger during a flight.
‘Man Leaving Again,’ a travel-focused YouTuber with 740,000 subscribers, released a video titled ‘I Traveled Around the World in First Class’ on his channel on the 23rd. The video captured his coveted bucket-list experience of flying in ultra-premium first-class, and provided a tour of the interior, including his private suite and a top-tier bathroom.
However, an unexpected incident took place during filming. As the YouTuber was recording inside his private suite, a foreign man suddenly entered the room.
"I Thought He Was a Flight Attendant"...A Stranger Walks Into the Suite
The YouTuber explained that he initially assumed a flight attendant was entering his suite to clean up spilled champagne near his seat. However, the person who entered turned out to be another passenger, not a member of the crew.
He recounted, "I thought the flight attendant was coming in to clean up the champagne, but a man walked in instead and suddenly sat down." He continued, "The man then took the headset from my seat and put it into his own bag."
Taken aback by the stranger’s sudden actions, the YouTuber questioned, "What are you doing?" The man reportedly responded, "Is this your seat?" Afterward, the man put the headset back down and left the suite. However, the incident did not end there. Once the man had left, the YouTuber noticed that the snack basket provided at his seat was missing.
The YouTuber expressed his disbelief, saying, "He was sitting there as if it were his own seat, and then he went downstairs to the lower-level seats. I can’t believe someone would try to steal something on an airplane."
Even the Crew Was Flustered..."First Time in My Career"
The airline staff, upon being informed of the situation, were equally shocked. The crew member in charge personally apologized to the YouTuber, repeatedly bowing and saying, "I have never encountered anything like this in my entire career."
The flight manager also apologized, stating that he had been briefed about the incident. He said, "I sincerely apologize for this unfortunate event that just occurred," and promised to head down to check on the passenger seated in the lower cabin.
The YouTuber noted that there was no physical harm done but emphasized how shocking the experience was. He warned that even first-class passengers need to be careful with their belongings.
