Hyundai Livart to Hold Youth Idea Contest "Livart Young Challenge"
Total Prize Money of 20 Million Won
Entries Accepted Until September 13
Hyundai Livart announced on the 23rd that it will hold the youth idea contest "Livart Young Challenge" until September 13th.
The Livart Young Challenge is a contest for young people, designed to directly reflect the ideas of consumers in their 20s and 30s in product development and marketing activities.
The contest is divided into two categories: design and marketing. The design category, under the theme "Changing the Home Formula for One- and Two-Person Households," seeks submissions for product and space designs in three fields: furniture, interior, and office. The marketing category, with the theme "Suggesting Youthful Ideas to Livart," is accepting ideas and proposals in three fields: brand strategy, digital content, and brand experience.
Participants must be unemployed youth between the ages of 19 and 34. Individuals or teams of up to two who are members of Hyundai Livart’s integrated online and offline membership program, "Livart Members," are eligible to apply. Even if currently employed, those working as experiential interns, short-term contract workers, or part-timers with a total contract period of 12 months or less may also participate.
Entries can be submitted until midnight on September 13th via the contest page on the official online store, Livartmall. Participants must select a category and specific field when submitting their entries. There is no limit to the number of entries, but identical or similar ideas may not be submitted more than once. Works utilizing artificial intelligence (AI), entries previously submitted to other contests, and creations with copyright or portrait rights issues will be excluded from the judging process.
The submitted ideas will go through preliminary screening (September–October), final screening (November), and a presentation round, ultimately selecting 15 finalist teams. Total prizes amount to 20 million won, with the grand prize (one team) receiving 10 million won, the excellence prize (two teams) receiving 3 million won each, the merit prize (two teams) receiving 1 million won each, and honorable mention (ten teams) receiving 200,000 points of the Hyundai Department Store Group integrated membership, H-point. The results will be announced at the end of November on Livartmall.
