KB Kookmin Bank Launches 'KB Card Sseu-dam Installment Savings' with Up to 12% Annual Interest Rate, Linking Card Use and Savings

On August 21, KB Kookmin Bank announced the launch of the 'KB Card Sseu-dam Installment Savings,' in partnership with KB Kookmin Card, which offers an interest rate of up to 12.0% per annum based on card usage and bank transaction performance.
The KB Card Sseu-dam Installment Savings is a product that links card usage with savings. It applies preferential interest rate conditions based on various financial activities, such as card usage records, average account balance, and salary transfers.
The product has a six-month maturity, and customers can freely deposit between 10,000 won and 300,000 won per month. The product is limited to a total of 100,000 accounts and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Subscriptions can be made at KB Kookmin Bank branches or via KB Star Banking.
The base interest rate is 2.0% per annum, and the maximum interest rate including all preferential offers is 12.0% per annum. The preferential interest rate items include: credit card preferential rate (6.0 percentage points per annum), average balance preferential rate (2.0 percentage points per annum), and first salary transfer preferential rate (2.0 percentage points per annum).
