Currently, Eastar Jet operates 11 domestic and international routes from Busan, including destinations in Japan, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, and Central Asia. Between August and October, to meet peak travel season demand, the airline will add 58 more flights on the Busan-Fukuoka route and 56 more flights on the Busan-Taipei route. Additionally, Eastar Jet plans to launch new routes to China, including Busan-Xiamen and Busan-Hangzhou, within the year.
Along with expanding routes, the airline is further engaging with local customers in Busan. This month and next month, Eastar Jet will run a collaboration with the landmark 'Haeundae Blueline Park Beach Train.' The beach train featuring the 'Eastar Jet×Snoopy' design will operate up to 14 times a day, accompanied by a social networking service (SNS) photo certification event.
From September 2 to September 3, Eastar Jet will participate in a job fair held at BEXCO in Busan, supporting job search activities for local talent. In addition, through industry-academia partnerships with institutions such as Busan Aviation High School and Silla University, Eastar Jet is providing hands-on aircraft maintenance training and continuing to promote regional win-win activities.
An Eastar Jet official commented, "While we consistently expand our Busan routes, we are also pursuing various marketing and social contribution activities to engage local customers in a friendly way. We will continue to communicate with all generations and strive to become the airline of choice in Busan as well."
