180°C Steam and 10cm Threshold Climbing: Dreame Unveils Next-Generation Robot Vacuum ‘Aqua Steam’
First in Korea: 180℃ High-Temperature Steam and Hot Water Roller Combined
"Domestic Data Server Migration Complete... Building Customer Trust"
Expanding into a Comprehensive Appliance Ecosystem Covering Personal Care and Kitchen Products
Chinese home appliance company Dreame Technology has launched a next-generation flagship robot vacuum cleaner in Korea, featuring the nation’s first-ever 180℃ high-temperature direct-injection steam technology and a system for climbing thresholds up to 10 centimeters. The company also announced its vision to move beyond robot vacuum manufacturing and build a comprehensive home appliance ecosystem that is intricately connected to the lives of Korean consumers.
On August 21, Dreame held a brand launch show, “Dreame in Seoul,” at Hangang Gabitseom in Seocho-gu, Seoul, where it unveiled its next-generation flagship robot vacuum cleaner, “Aqua Steam,” equipped with cutting-edge technology.

When the 180℃ high-temperature steam instantly softens stubborn dirt and greasy stains stuck to the floor, the continuously supplied clean hot water roller mop immediately wipes them away, enabling both sterilization and cleaning in a single process.
The hardware specifications have also been significantly enhanced. Aqua Steam boasts powerful suction with a force of 40,000Pa and is equipped with a tangle-free dual brush to thoroughly pick up deep-seated carpet dust, as well as hair up to 50 centimeters long and pet fur without tangling. For corner cleaning, the roller module expands up to 8 centimeters, and, in an industry first, the system called “Pro Leaf” enables the robot to cross dual thresholds between rooms up to 10 centimeters high. The accompanying “100℃ All-in-One Power Dock” comprehensively automates the entire process, including 100℃ high-temperature mop cleaning, automatic dust emptying, and hot air drying, minimizing user involvement.

On the same day, alongside the new product launch, Dreame also announced its localization strategy to earn the trust of Korean consumers. Myunghwan Kim, Executive Director of Marketing at Dreame Korea, emphasized, “The value of technology is only realized when it brings real change to the daily lives of Korean consumers,” and stated, “We are focused on creating an environment where every step—from cleaning performance to purchase, after-sales service, and privacy protection—ensures complete peace of mind for users.”

The company has implemented offline storage and multi-layer encryption to prevent captured videos and images from being uploaded to the cloud, and has completed the migration to a dedicated data server in Korea to fundamentally address local consumers’ security concerns.
Kim added, “Trust in smart home products is directly linked to how securely personal information is protected,” and continued, “We have completed the migration to domestic data servers to thoroughly safeguard Korean consumers’ data, and will continue to maintain the highest level of security standards in the future.” He also noted, “We will continue to expand our after-sales service capabilities and nationwide accessibility, striving to become a brand that delivers long-lasting satisfaction after purchase.”
