Huis Ten Bosch to Hold Autumn Halloween Event Featuring "A Fantasy Otherworld" Theme

The Huis Ten Bosch theme park resort in Nagasaki Prefecture will host its "Autumn Halloween Event" from September 18 to November 3, 2026. This event is designed to offer visitors a unique experience for the autumn season.
The event, themed "A Fantasy Otherworld," will feature a lineup that includes horror content, a Miffy character parade, Evangelion experience content, gourmet events using Kyushu ingredients, a wine fair, a night show, and Halloween-themed illuminations.
The horror attraction "Haunted Halloween" will take place at the actual palace, Palace Huis Ten Bosch. It will introduce a new character, the tyrant "Death King," and operate in the front garden of Palace Huis Ten Bosch on all days except Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
In Amsterdam City, the "Miffy & Friends Halloween Party Parade" will be held, where Miffy, Melanie, Boris, and Grunty will appear in Halloween costumes such as witch, pirate, wizard, and knight. On-site, there will be dance time, photo opportunities, and a limited-edition snack giveaway program.
Miffy-related activities will also continue as a street event. Visitors can say "Trick or Treat" to receive snacks and participate in a special rally by collecting Miffy snacks in a Miffy-designed basket. Seasonal limited-edition Miffy food items and goods will also be available.
The "Taste of Kyushu ~Autumn~" event will be held at the Tower City Terrace. Menus featuring seasonal ingredients from various regions of Kyushu will be served, and the wine fair will showcase approximately 50 varieties of wine and draft beer.
The night show "Shower of Lights" will be a performance combining live music, fireworks, lights, and fountains. Music, fireworks, lighting, and fountains will come together to enhance the nighttime Halloween atmosphere. Since its debut in spring 2025, this program recorded a 96% satisfaction rate in visitor surveys. This year, it will introduce new elements and take place at the Art Garden. On selected days, a special version titled "Shower of Lights: Special Fireworks Edition" will feature enhanced fireworks displays.
The Halloween illumination "Halloween Night Walk" will also be held at the Art Garden, creating a festive nighttime atmosphere with Jack-o'-Lantern lighting and a limited-time production of the "Aurora Garden of Light."
With the arrival of the autumn season, the lineup includes both character content for children and gourmet and beverage programs for adults, offering appealing options for all age groups.
