The core of this agreement is the integration of hardware and software into a unified package. Rainbow will provide APIs and protocols related to its own “full-stack robot lineup,” which includes mobile dual-arm robots, collaborative robots, autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), and quadrupedal robots—all self-manufactured and developed. In particular, both companies will focus on expanding supply of the mobile dual-arm robot “RB-Y1” in the North American market.
Big Wave will be responsible for optimizing, controlling, and operating automation systems based on its SOLlink platform, an integrated monitoring and control software solution for various types of robots and equipment. The company also intends to prevent customer churn by utilizing its “DataStudio” software, a solution for collecting and analyzing robot data.
The two companies aim to build trust and strengthen their market position by providing integrated solutions optimized for local sites in North America. They plan to develop and commercialize robotic solutions customized for the U.S. market through technological collaboration. They will also participate jointly in major local exhibitions and undertake marketing efforts by sharing pipelines of potential customers.
Additionally, the companies plan to cooperate across all stages of business for customers in the United States, from proof of concept (PoC) to on-site setup, remote control, and maintenance. Through this, Rainbow expects to lower the entry barriers for its full-stack robot lineup in the U.S. market, while Big Wave anticipates expanding the presence of its SOLlink and DataStudio platforms.
