Bithumb Introduces KB Kookmin Bank Account Opening Service Without App
Virtual asset exchange Bithumb has improved transaction convenience for users who do not have a KB Kookmin Bank account.
Bithumb announced on August 20 that it has introduced a "Web Account Opening" service and updated its environment for non-face-to-face account creation.
With this update, users without a KB Kookmin Bank account can now easily open a new account via the web, without the need to separately install the KB Star Banking app. By streamlining the previous process that required switching between apps, accessibility for account linking has been enhanced, and users can now open accounts in whichever way they prefer, whether on mobile app or web, without distinction.
The usage process has also been further simplified. When Bithumb users select "Web Account Opening" during the account verification stage, they can create an account without installing any additional app. Once the account is created, the account number is automatically copied, and users can simply paste it into the Bithumb app to easily complete the linking process.
