Meet the Future of Beauty at the '2026 Suncheon Beauty Festa'
A Beauty and Life Care Festival for All Generations on August 22
Suncheon City in the Jeonnam-Gwangju Integrated Metropolitan City has announced that it will host the '2026 Suncheon Beauty Festa' on August 22, 2026 at the Suncheon Bay Ecological and Cultural Education Center, aiming to promote AI-powered growth in the beauty industry and expand a healthy life care culture.
Beginning with the opening ceremony at 9:00 a.m., the event will feature a variety of programs, including a beauty competition, talk concert, beauty industry expo, hands-on booths, and hygiene education sessions.
The beauty competition will be held across 22 categories in five fields: skin care, makeup, eyelash art, nail care, and hair styling. Outstanding participants will receive awards such as the Suncheon Mayor’s Award and commendations from various institutional heads.
The newly introduced 'Beauty Life Care Talk Concert' will provide an opportunity to engage with experts on healthy beauty culture and life care tailored to ongoing social changes.
In addition to the beauty industry expo, there will be a wide range of experiential programs for citizens, such as AI-driven skin and scalp analysis, men's grooming consultations, personal color assessments, and makeup experiences. Hygiene regulations and beauty techniques training will also be offered to beauty professionals, with the aim of fostering a safe and high-quality beauty service culture.
