Gyeonggi Provincial Library to Offer "Library Tour with Local Narrators" Program in September
Gyeonggi Provincial Library will operate the "Gyeonggi Provincial Library Tour with Local Narrators" program from September 1 to September 17.
In July, Gyeonggi Provincial Library trained 31 local narrators through the "Library School," a program in which residents directly plan and manage library tour content. The library tour consists of a total of 19 sessions, including 12 general tours, 4 AI program tours, and 3 World Friends Book Village book reading programs. Each tour accommodates 4 to 10 participants per session, depending on the program.
The local narrators will introduce participants to the library’s spaces, major facilities, and stories about books and libraries, while sharing the values and experiences they learned at Library School.
Applications to participate in the program can be submitted between August 20 and August 31 through the Gyeonggi Provincial Library website (library.kr), and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis according to the number of seats per session. For general tours, one team with up to 10 participants can register per session. The AI program tours are limited to up to four participants. The World Friends Book Village reading program is targeted at daycare centers and kindergartens.
Detailed operating schedules and application methods are available on the Gyeonggi Provincial Library website.
