He commented, "Unlike in the past, this year all 30 players start on an even footing, so even those ranked lower have a chance to win. I believe this format is fairer," welcoming the change.
This season, Siwoo Kim has played in 22 PGA Tour events, finishing in the top 10 a total of 11 times, including three runner-up results. Notably, he finished second in the first playoff event of the season, the FedEx St. Jude Championship, last week. "Before this season, I experimented with a variety of shots and ball flights," he explained. "Thanks to that, I am now able to attack the course both defensively and aggressively, depending on the situation."

He added, "However, competing frequently in contention taught me a lot and helped me overcome my anxieties." Regarding his participation in tournaments held in Korea this season, he said, "I have yet to win a tournament in Korea. I want to compete in one of the remaining events held in Korea this season and achieve a win there."
