Teraview Signs 950 Million Won Semiconductor Inspection Equipment Supply Contract
Teraview has signed a semiconductor inspection equipment supply contract worth 950 million won with an overseas IT and electronics company.
According to Teraview on August 19, the contracting party is an overseas IT and electronics manufacturing client. The contract amount equals 12.52% of Teraview's most recent sales of 7,581,490,000 won. The contract period runs until February 20, 2027. The identity and further details of the contracting party are being withheld until the end of the contract at the request of the client to protect trade secrets.
The inspection equipment to be supplied this time will be utilized in the contracting party's quality control process. Teraview develops and supplies semiconductor non-destructive inspection equipment utilizing terahertz-based inspection technology, which allows for the examination of the internal structure of inspection targets without causing any damage. Terahertz-based non-destructive inspection technology is used in industries that require high-precision quality control.
Teraview sees the importance of non-destructive, high-precision inspection technology increasing in line with the advancement of semiconductor packaging and the growing demand for high-performance semiconductors, and is continuing to respond to global clients by focusing on the semiconductor inspection equipment business.
