Tae Sung to Supply Printed Circuit Board Equipment to AT&S
Tae Sung will supply printed circuit board (PCB) equipment to AT&S.
According to Tae Sung on August 19, AT&S is a global high-end PCB and IC substrate manufacturing company headquartered in Austria, operating production bases in Europe, Asia, and other regions. The company mainly produces high-density and high-layer-count PCBs and IC substrates, supplying products to a variety of advanced industries such as AI, high-performance computing (HPC), data centers, and automotive.
This supply deal is significant as Tae Sung has expanded its customer base to a global high-spec PCB and IC substrate company. As circuit miniaturization and increased layer counts advance in advanced substrates, the importance of manufacturing precision, uniformity, and stable mass production capabilities grows, meaning that a high level of technical proficiency and quality response capabilities are required during equipment selection.
Tae Sung has independently developed and manufactured a variety of equipment for processes such as etching, cleaning, and surface treatment required in PCB manufacturing. Leveraging its accumulated process technology and equipment development capabilities, the company supplies equipment to major substrate manufacturers both domestically and internationally. With this AT&S supply deal as a turning point, Tae Sung is also in discussions to supply additional PCB WET equipment.
During the first half of this year, Tae Sung recorded consolidated sales of 50.4 billion won, surpassing last year’s annual sales of 37.9 billion won in just six months. The company expects the continued growth in orders for its main PCB equipment and the diversification of its global customer base to further reinforce its growth momentum for the rest of the year.
