Coinone Renews Real-Name Account Contract with KakaoBank for One Year
Virtual asset exchange Coinone has extended its real-name account contract with KakaoBank for one year.
Coinone announced on the 19th that it has completed the renewal agreement with KakaoBank for the issuance of real-name verified accounts. Since August 2022, when Coinone first partnered with KakaoBank to offer real-name verified accounts, the two companies have maintained their relationship for four consecutive years.
The contract period for real-name account verification has been extended until August next year. Coinone has also completed a change notification with the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) as a result of the contract extension.
Both companies plan to enhance service connectivity to maximize user inflow and convenience. Currently, Coinone provides the 'My Virtual Asset Overview' page within the KakaoBank app, allowing users to check their virtual asset holdings in Coinone and instantly access various services offered by Coinone.
