NextEye Achieves Record Performance With First-Half Sales of 119.4 Billion Won
NextEye reported record-breaking performance in the first half of this year.
According to NextEye on August 18, on a consolidated basis, sales for the first half reached 119.4 billion won and operating profit came to 3.2 billion won. Both sales and net profit for the half-year period set new all-time highs. Operating profit also reached its highest level in eight years. Sales increased by 438.5% compared to the same period last year, and operating profit increased significantly from 900 million won. Net profit also grew sharply, reaching 8.6 billion won, up 107.9%.
This strong performance in the first half is due to the rapid growth of Rodmir Bio, a wholly owned subsidiary operating the global business-to-consumer (B2C) platform "Rodmir." Rodmir Bio posted sales of 114.3 billion won and operating profit of 4.7 billion won in the first half. As sales through its own platform expanded, profitability also improved.
Along with rapid growth, Rodmir is also enhancing sales stability by expanding its product portfolio within the platform. In addition to its flagship anti-aging health supplement "IONA Jin AKG," the wild ginseng cultured root functional supplement "Heraselone," launched in December last year, has grown to achieve approximately 2 billion won in monthly sales.
