Shinhan Bank Launches "Ddang-Gyeoyo Outstanding Franchisee Loan" with Up to 100 Million Won Limit
On August 18, Shinhan Bank announced the launch of the "Ddang-Gyeoyo Outstanding Franchisee Loan" to support the stable business operations and growth of franchisees registered on the win-win food delivery app, "Ddang-Gyeoyo."
This product is available to franchisees that meet the following criteria: 1) Designating both the Ddang-Gyeoyo settlement account and the Shinhan Card merchant payment account as Shinhan Bank accounts; 2) Designating at least one settlement account from any of the major delivery platforms as a Shinhan Bank account; 3) Maintaining an average monthly sales of at least 10 million won over the past six months; and 4) Having been in business for more than six months since opening.
The maximum loan limit is 100 million won, which is determined based on the average monthly sales or average monthly Shinhan Card purchase amount over the previous six months. If all settlement accounts for major delivery platforms are designated as Shinhan Bank accounts, the maximum available loan is up to three times the relevant amount. If only one settlement account is designated, it is up to twice the relevant amount. The loan term can be selected from one, two, or three years, and is structured as an installment loan with principal repayments.
This product has been designed to reflect the actual business performance and sales flow accumulated by Ddang-Gyeoyo franchisees in the loan limit and credit evaluation process. Compared to the existing "Ddang-Gyeoyo Business Loan," this new product expands the scope for calculating loan limits and connects a wide range of transaction information, enabling outstanding franchisees to flexibly secure the funds needed for their business scale.
The alternative credit assessment model has also been enhanced to better utilize actual business information of the franchisees. Approximately 1,100 new data items related to Ddang-Gyeoyo, such as order, sales, and coupon usage information, have been added, bringing the total number of data points used for credit assessment—including existing alternative indicators such as disaster prevention service registration and micro-payment data—to approximately 1,700. Based on these enhancements, customers who achieve excellent evaluation results will be granted an upgrade in their internal credit rating by one level.
To improve the convenience of loan repayment for franchisees, a BaaS-based automatic repayment account service has been implemented. When sales settlement funds are credited to the account, the loan principal is automatically repaid according to the agreed mechanism.

A Shinhan Bank representative commented, "This product is meaningful in that it links the sales and business performance data accumulated by Ddang-Gyeoyo franchisees to tangible financial benefits, thereby supporting the growth of small business owners. Going forward, we will continue to expand both financial and non-financial services so that Ddang-Gyeoyo can evolve from a simple order-connecting delivery platform to a sustainable win-win platform supporting all aspects of small business operations."
