Sogang University to Offer "Think Window" Lectures as Business Administration Major Course in Second Semester
Featuring Seo Jungjin, Chairman of Celltrion, and Other Leaders
Sogang University announced on August 18 that it will offer lectures from the mentoring center "Window of Thought" as a business administration major course for the second semester of this year.
This course, themed "Empathetic Leadership in the Age of AI," has been established to shed light on the competencies required for leaders who guide organizations and society in an era where artificial intelligence (AI) technology is spreading rapidly. Members of the mentoring center, including CEOs, former high-ranking government officials, academic experts, and business practitioners, will participate as instructors, sharing real-world experiences and leadership case studies with students. "Window of Thought" lectures were previously offered as a liberal arts course in the first semester of this year under the theme “The Age of Empathy – A Future Offered by Experience.”
The second semester will feature speakers including: Professor Kim Yongjin of Sogang University; Wonjo Lee, Country Managing Partner of Dentons Lee (Dailei Piper) Korea; Park Jongbok, former CEO of Standard Chartered Bank Korea; Seo Jungjin, Chairman of Celltrion; Professor Jeon Hogyeom of Seoul Venture University; Professor Kim Dokyun of Kyung Hee University; spatial planner Song Gunho; Professor Lee Jaehong of Yonsei University (Distinguished Professor); Kang Sungchun, former Vice Minister of SMEs and Startups; Yoon Sukjin, former President of Korea Institute of Science and Technology; Professor Ha Yoon of Yonsei University School of Medicine; Kim Dongwook, Executive Vice President of Hyundai Motor Company; Woo Yoongeun, former Ambassador to Russia; and Joo Eunki, Advisor at Samsung Electronics. Chairman Seo Jungjin of Celltrion will give a lecture on November 4 that will be open to the public.
