Three Flagship TIGER US Investment ETFs Surpass 1 Trillion Won in Individual Net Buying Over Past Month
Three Major Indices—Dow, Nasdaq, and S&P500
Also Among Top in Net Fund Inflows
Mirae Asset Global Investments announced on August 18 that the total net buying amount from individual investors for three flagship U.S. investment ETFs under the TIGER brand surpassed 1 trillion won over the past month.
According to the Korea Exchange, as of August 14, the net buying figures for individual investors over the previous month were 609.9 billion won for 'TIGER US S&P500', 298.8 billion won for 'TIGER US Nasdaq100', and 133.1 billion won for 'TIGER US Dividend Dow Jones', totaling 1.0418 trillion won across all three ETFs.
For these three products, net buying by retail investors has remained above 1 trillion won since May 14. This is 6.3 times higher than the same period last year (164.3 billion won). The cumulative net buying from individuals since the beginning of this year is 7.0987 trillion won, already surpassing last year's annual total of 5.1594 trillion won.
Inflow of retail money into these three flagship US ETFs is consistent with overall money flow trends in the ETF market. According to KOSCOM, during August 10–14, 520.9 billion won flowed into overseas stock-type ETFs; among these, 'TIGER US S&P500' (116 billion won) and 'TIGER US Nasdaq100' (49.1 billion won) ranked among the top in net inflow amounts.
The concentration of funds in these ETFs is attributed to the proven stability and diversification effect observed during periods of market volatility. Major U.S. indices with limited bias toward specific industries or stocks have demonstrated relatively stable performance, and are increasingly established as core assets in pension accounts such as retirement pensions and pension savings, with regular monthly contributions forming the basis of ongoing net purchases.

We will continue to manage these products to help investors secure long-term investment opportunities using high-quality global assets."
