LIG announced on August 18 that, in celebration of Liberation Day, it has participated as a sponsoring company for the third consecutive year in the '815 Run' campaign organized by Habitat for Humanity Korea.
Now in its seventh year, the 815 Run is a charity marathon campaign aimed at improving the housing conditions of descendants of independence patriots who have fallen into welfare blind spots.
This year's campaign saw six affiliates, including LIG Corp., LIG Defense & Aerospace (LIG D&A), and LIG Systems, each contributing KRW 8,150,000 for a total sponsorship of KRW 48,900,000.
All donations and campaign proceeds will be used by Habitat for Humanity Korea to support projects aimed at improving the housing environment for descendants of independence patriots.
Over the past three years, LIG has annually supported projects to improve the living conditions of independence patriots' descendants through the 815 Run.
