On August 18, Korea N Company Group announced that it is participating for the fifth consecutive year as a corporate sponsor of the “2026 815 Run” campaign, organized by Habitat for Humanity Korea, an international nonprofit for housing welfare, and joined by singer Sean.

Now in its seventh year, the 815 Run is a charity marathon aimed at expressing gratitude to independence activists and reflecting on the significance of Liberation Day. All participation and sponsorship fees are used by Habitat for Humanity Korea to fund housing improvement projects for the descendants of independence activists. This year’s event saw a total of 19,450 participants across both online and offline formats.

The offline event was held on August 15 at Sangam World Cup Park in Mapo-gu, Seoul, along an 8.15-kilometer course. Starting August 1, the non-face-to-face virtual run allows participants to run at any time and place of their choice until August 23, verifying completion through social networking services (SNS) and other platforms. Runners can choose among courses of 3.1 kilometers, 4.5 kilometers, or 8.15 kilometers, each symbolically representing March 1st (the March 1st Movement), the founding year of liberation (1945), and August 15th (Liberation Day), respectively.

Since 2022, Korea N Company Group has been supporting the 815 Run under its unified ESG brand, “DRIVING FORWARD TOGETHER.” Based on contributions from sponsoring companies and participants, Habitat for Humanity Korea has so far dedicated homes to 21 families of independence activists’ descendants, and is currently constructing 10 more houses, covering homes number 22 to 31.

A Korea N Company Group representative stated, “We are honored to participate in the 815 Run for five consecutive years, remembering the dedication of independence activists and supporting the improvement of housing environments for their descendants,” adding, “We will continue to fulfill our social responsibility as a company by engaging in community service activities, based on ‘DRIVING FORWARD TOGETHER,’ to assist neighbors and regions in need.”

Meanwhile, in addition to the 815 Run, Korea N Company Group also leads various other social contribution initiatives, including vehicle donation programs for transportation-vulnerable groups, battery support for electric mobility aids, marine environment clean-ups, and employee mural painting volunteer work.
