"From First Impressions to Color"... Busan Central Library Launches 'Discovering Your Own Brand' Program
A Four-Session Program on Personal Color and Image-Making
Busan Central Library is launching a humanities program focused on personal color that explores the question, "How will I present myself?"
Busan Central Library (Director: Lee Eunkyung) will run the Humanities Academy titled "Finding Your Own Brand Value" every Wednesday from September 2 to September 23. The program is open to 30 local residents.
This program is designed to help participants understand their own characteristics through personal color analysis and image-making, and to discover the image and style that best suit them. In particular, it goes beyond the question of "What suits me well?" to help participants think about "How do I want to be perceived?" and focuses on finding a direction for self-expression.
The lectures will be led by Kim Hyosun, CEO of Image & Color Branding Center, and will be held over the course of four sessions. Participants will have the opportunity to: ▲Assess their first impressions through image-making ▲Understand their personal image through personal color analysis ▲Discover their unique style based on an understanding of body structure ▲Explore their emotions and tendencies using Color DNA.
The program follows a sequence where participants first assess their first impressions, then explore their image via colors, and afterward find styles that match their body type. Finally, they will use Color DNA to gain insight into their emotions and tendencies. The program starts with external image and leads to deeper self-understanding.
Registration opens from 10 a.m. on August 19 through the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education's integrated reservation portal. The program is open to 30 local residents. For more information, please contact the Busan Central Library Lifelong Learning Department.
