Dynamic Solution to Unveil 'BCI Robotic Hand Glove' at WRC 2026...Accelerating the Physical AI Business
Dynamic Solution is making a full-fledged entry into the physical AI robot business by unveiling its brain-computer interface (BCI)-based robotic hand glove for the first time at the World Robot Conference (WRC), one of the world's largest robot exhibitions.
Dynamic Solution announced on August 18, 2026, that it will participate in WRC 2026, which will be held in Beijing, China from August 19 to August 23, where it plans to showcase its "next-generation BCI-based robotic hand glove."
The BCI robotic hand glove is a technology that analyzes brainwave signals generated when a user thinks about moving their hand and translates them in real time into movements of the robotic hand. This approach connects signals from the brain to the physical actions of a robot, making it a key application area for physical AI that integrates artificial intelligence (AI) with robotics technology.
The product is designed in the size of an adult male’s hand and features independent actuators for each finger, enabling a variety of gripping motions. Anti-slip materials are applied to the areas that come into contact with the hand to enhance stability when grasping objects.
The development of this product leveraged more than 40 achievements from government-funded R&D projects accumulated by Dynamic Solution since its founding in 2010. Notably, a Korea-Germany international BCI research consortium—composed of Bundang Seoul National University Hospital, Germany's Charité Hospital in Berlin, and Imagin—contributed to advancing the technology.
This consortium completed the first-phase development of a BCI prototype in 2021 and began preparing for the second clinical trial, which will be conducted simultaneously in Korea and Germany, starting in April 2026. In parallel, research for the medical commercialization of the technology is also underway to improve its maturity.
Additionally, Dynamic Solution has incorporated "X-HAND," a tactile-based robotic hand technology transferred from the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI) of Korea in March 2026. This allows for fine-tuned control of grip force based on the size, weight, and shape of objects, thus enhancing remote control precision.
WRC is a global robot and intelligent technology exhibition hosted by the Chinese government. This year, more than 300 companies and research institutes, including ABB, Tesla, and NVIDIA, will participate, unveiling over 2,000 exhibits and introducing more than 150 new products.
At this exhibition, Dynamic Solution will not only present its BCI robotic hand glove but also discuss technological cooperation and business expansion strategies with local Chinese robotics and AI companies.
Commercialization will begin in the medical and rehabilitation field. Dynamic Solution plans to first develop a medical product to aid rehabilitation and daily return for patients with weakened hand functions due to neurological diseases such as stroke, and then expand its applications to the industrial and general-purpose robotic hand market.
In particular, the company aims to develop robotic hands that utilize tactile-based technology to remotely transmit sensations similar to actually touching physical objects. At CES 2027, to be held in Las Vegas early next year, Dynamic Solution plans to unveil a ‘remote tactile-based robotic glove’ that features bi-directional interaction technology—able to provide users with real-life sensory feedback such as touch and temperature.
