Summer of Love with Samgyetang: Korea Racing Authority Changwon Branch Donates 6.85 Million Won to Elderly Living Alone
To help elderly people living alone get through the summer, the Korea Racing Authority Changwon Branch not only made a donation but also directly participated in meal service volunteering.
The Korea Racing Authority Changwon Branch (headed by Bae Ki-han) announced on the 16th that on the 13th, it donated 6.85 million won to the Gyeongnam Community Chest of Korea to support low-income elderly people living alone in Bansong-dong, Seongsan-gu, Changwon City.
The funds will be used for the "Our Town On-dongne Hope Cart: Bansong Neighbor Care Project," led by the Bansong-dong Community Security Council.
On the occasion of the hottest days of summer, on the 13th, employees of the Korea Racing Authority Changwon Branch participated in a samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup) distribution volunteer activity for elderly people living alone and took a commemorative photo.

The initiative will launch with Samgyetang Day in August, followed by Gomtang Day in October and Kimjang Day in November. It aims to provide healthy meals to low-income senior citizens living alone and elderly people living alone, while also strengthening the local network of sharing and care through ongoing support.
The employees of Korea Racing Authority Changwon Branch not only delivered the donation; on the same day, they also visited the Banji Free Meals Center to carry out meal service volunteering. The staff personally served samgyetang to elderly people living alone, whose strength can easily decline in a heat wave, helping them maintain their health during the summer.
