View original imageThe Palaces and Tombs Center and the National Heritage Promotion Agency will host the fall edition of the 'Changdeokgung Palace Moonlight Tour' from September 10 to October 17, 2026. The event will take place six times a day every Thursday through Sunday.
This is a representative palace night-time program that has continued since 2010. Participants can stroll through the rear garden of Changdeokgung Palace holding a Cheongsachorong lantern, enjoying the beauty of the palace and the unique nighttime atmosphere.

Attendees will tour key palace buildings such as Injeongjeon Hall, Nakseonjae Hall, and Yeongyeongdang Hall, accompanied by a guide and passing by Geumcheongyo Bridge—which was designated as a Treasure in 2012—while illuminated by special lighting effects. At Sangryangjeong Pavilion, Nakseonjae Hall, participants can listen to a daegeum performance. At Buyongji Pond, they can take commemorative photos with the cast of 'Royal Stroll,' a reenactment of a Joseon royal procession. At Yeongyeongdang Hall, they can enjoy a traditional dessert along with a Korean traditional music ensemble performance.
