Seungyun Kim, Chairman of Hanwha Group, and his three sons collectively received a total compensation of 20,320,000,000 won from the group's affiliates in the first half of this year. Of this, Chairman Kim alone received 11,580,000,000 won from five group companies.
According to semi-annual reports from major Hanwha Group subsidiaries released on August 14, Chairman Kim received 2,520,000,000 won each from Hanwha Corporation, Hanwha Aerospace, and Hanwha Systems. He also collected 2,340,000,000 won from Hanwha Vision and 1,680,000,000 won from Hanwha Solutions.
The total compensation for Dongkwan Kim, Senior Vice Chairman and eldest son of Chairman Kim, amounted to 3,500,000,000 won for the first half of the year. He received 1,160,000,000 won each from Hanwha Corporation and Hanwha Aerospace, and 1,180,000,000 won from Hanwha Solutions.
Dongsun Kim, the third son and President in charge of Future Vision at Hanwha Galleria, Hanwha Hotels & Resorts, and Hanwha Vision, received a total of 4,540,000,000 won. He was paid 1,410,000,000 won by Hanwha Hotels & Resorts, 1,270,000,000 won by Hanwha Galleria, 730,000,000 won by Hanwha Corporation, 610,000,000 won by Hanwha Momentum, and 520,000,000 won by Hanwha Vision. The payout amounts from the other four companies except Hanwha Vision included retirement income.
Dongwon Kim, the second son and Vice Chairman of Hanwha Life Insurance, received 700,000,000 won from Hanwha Life Insurance.
