Hironic Reports 2.6 Billion Won Operating Profit in First Half, Highest in 11 Years
Hironic, a company specializing in aesthetic medical devices, announced on August 14, 2026, that its consolidated sales for the first half of this year reached 20.4 billion won, with operating profit of 2.6 billion won.
This sales figure marks the highest ever for a half-year period, while operating profit reached the largest amount in 11 years. Compared to the same period last year, sales grew by 32.6% and operating profit increased by 33.5%. Net profit for the period surged by 206.9% to 2 billion won.
Consolidated sales for the second quarter were 10.8 billion won, up 36.9% from the same quarter last year. During the same period, operating profit stood at 1.1 billion won and net profit at 800 million won, turning back to profitability.
The strong performance in the first half was largely attributed to the success of the home beauty device 'Homecera.' As demand grew for advanced home devices utilizing energy-based technologies used in dermatology clinics, 'Homecera' achieved first-half sales of 4.2 billion won, a 154% increase year-on-year.
The company also saw growth in its Japanese business. Sales in Japan for the first half rose 144% compared to a year earlier. Hironic is enhancing its brand recognition in the Japanese market through its local subsidiary, 'Hironic Japan.'
In June, Hironic carried out a full treasury share cancellation of 3,995,317 shares and paid its first quarterly dividend, ramping up shareholder returns. The aggregate amount for the canceled treasury shares (27.7 billion won) and the total quarterly dividends (4 billion won) brought first-half shareholder returns to 31.7 billion won.
Hironic plans to expand sales of new products in the second half. The company will boost domestic sales of the 'Synerjet Pro' and 'Miglow,' both of which recently obtained product approval from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, while further strengthening recurring consumable sales associated with increased equipment supply.

Going forward, we will continue our growth momentum in the second half by expanding new product sales and overseas markets alongside proactive shareholder return policies."
