HD Hyundai Oilbank Provides 50 Billion Won in Support to 2,100 Gas Stations Nationwide
30 Won Per Liter Provided for Sales Volumes Under Price Ceiling Policy
Easing Business Burdens from High Oil Prices and Supporting Petroleum Supply Chain Stability
HD Hyundai Oilbank will provide a total of 50 billion won in support funds to approximately 2,100 gas stations nationwide, which are facing increased business burdens due to high crude oil prices and the implementation of the petroleum price ceiling system. The company plans to ease the management burden on gas stations by providing 30 won per liter for sales volumes during the price ceiling period, with the aim of stabilizing the petroleum product supply chain as well.
HD Hyundai Oilbank announced on the 14th that it will provide “High Oil Price Crisis Relief Funds” to gas stations nationwide that have signed petroleum supply contracts.
The support period covers March 13 to June 30, when the price ceiling policy was in effect. The company will retroactively provide 30 won per liter on the total sales volumes of all petroleum products—such as gasoline, diesel, and indoor kerosene—covered by the price ceiling regulation at gas stations during this period.
This support initiative was established to help stabilize the management of gas stations that have faced growing burdens due to soaring oil prices and the implementation of the price ceiling system following the war between the United States and Iran. The total scale of the support is approximately 50 billion won.
Through this assistance, HD Hyundai Oilbank expects to enhance the operational stability of gas stations while also contributing to the stable supply and maintenance of distribution networks for petroleum products. The company also plans to actively cooperate with the government's oil price stabilization policy.
