SNET Systems Achieves KRW 3.2 Billion Operating Profit in First Half, Up 227% Year-on-Year
AI infrastructure and services specialist SNET Systems has achieved improved performance in the first half of the year, driven by growing demand for AI infrastructure.
On August 13, SNET Systems announced that its cumulative consolidated sales for the second quarter of this year reached 263.8 billion won, with an operating profit of 3.2 billion won. Sales increased by 54% compared to the same period last year, while operating profit soared by 227%. Net profit turned positive, recording 2.2 billion won.
On a standalone basis, sales totaled 181.4 billion won, with operating profit reaching 300 million won. Operating profit increased by 130% year-on-year.
The improved results are attributable to both the growth of its existing system construction and maintenance business, and the expansion into new AI-related projects. The proliferation of AI adoption led to more orders for building GPU infrastructure, with related revenues now making a significant contribution to the company’s performance.
Subsidiary Goodus Data also contributed to performance growth by expanding cloud and license sales in response to increased enterprise demand for AI infrastructure and by securing contracts for public AI transformation pilot projects.
SNET Systems anticipates that the continued expansion of its AI infrastructure business will further drive performance improvement in the second half of the year. The company is pursuing major projects, including infrastructure and solution deployment for AI computing resources and integrated GPU capacity expansions for domestic manufacturing companies.
Recently, the SNET Group established an 'AI Transformation Innovation Task Force' to promote organizational efficiency and enhance capabilities through AI-based work optimization.
