SAMKI Energy Solutions Achieves Record Half-Year Revenue, Up 1,117% YoY
SAMKI Energy Solutions achieved record-high revenue in the first half of the year.
According to SAMKI Energy Solutions on August 13, its standalone revenue in the first half of this year reached KRW 7.99 billion, a 1,117% increase compared to the same period last year, and its operating profit surged by 139% to KRW 3.7 billion. On a consolidated basis, the company posted revenue of KRW 11.33 billion and operating profit of KRW 4.9 billion.
Quarterly performance also hit an all-time high since the corporate split. In the second quarter alone, standalone revenue was KRW 4.65 billion, up 127% year-on-year. Operating profit for the second quarter rose by 377% year-on-year to KRW 3.3 billion, with an operating margin of 7.2%.
The company explained that, since mass production began in its North American subsidiary in May 2024, rapid production stabilization and volume expansion have led to a swift improvement in its profit structure. While maintaining a stable supply chain for its main product, the battery end plate, expansion of global ESS battery component supply drove external growth.
In particular, SAMKI Energy Solutions is expanding its core connector business for ESS in response to the recent surge in power demand from AI data centers and the wider adoption of renewable energy. By supplying flat flexible printed circuit boards (FF-PCB)—key components connecting the battery cell and battery management system (BMS)—to global battery manufacturers, the company is quickly establishing new revenue streams.
