TrueN's Q2 Revenue Up 14% YoY ... "Growth Driven by High-End Sales and Expanded Exports"
TrueN recorded revenue of 16.67 billion won in the second quarter of this year, marking a 13.9% increase compared to the same period last year.
According to TrueN on August 13, its operating profit reached 4.45 billion won. Despite increased cost pressures caused by both domestic and international uncertainties, the company achieved high profitability through product competitiveness, effective cost management, and improved management efficiency. Its operating profit margin (OPM) stood at around 25%, demonstrating robust profitability and business competitiveness.
This performance growth was led by an increase in overseas sales. In the second quarter, total export sales jumped by 176.5% year-on-year, while sales of its core IP camera products abroad surged by 270.5%, achieving triple-digit growth. The proportion of sales from overseas markets—including the United States, Europe, and Japan—rose significantly from its traditionally domestic-centered structure, enabling the company to secure a new growth foundation focused on the global market.
The expansion in the supply of high-end on-device artificial intelligence (AI) cameras and software also contributed to the strong performance. TrueN possesses high-end product lines such as the "TA Series" and "TX-8 Series," which are equipped with advanced AI features. These cameras are capable of performing various AI video analysis functions independently, without the need for an additional high-performance GPU server. As a result, the company expanded its supply, especially in markets like the United States, major European countries such as Germany, and India, where demand is high for alternatives to Chinese video security products.

A representative from TrueN stated, "The growth in performance during the second quarter was driven by high-end products, software, and overseas market expansion. In particular, since there is strong demand overseas to replace Chinese products, we plan to continue focusing on high-value-added products to broaden our business foundation in the global market and further improve sales and profitability in the second half of the year."
