"Lower Customer Burden, Higher Inflows": Shinhan Securities' 'Light Products' Successfully Settle in the Market
Light Bonds Surpass 100 Billion Won in Sales Within One Month
Shinhan Investment & Securities announced on the 13th that its "Light Products," designed to reduce customers' initial investment costs, have settled successfully in the market just one month after launch.
The Light Products are characterized by reducing the upfront subscription fees for online public offering funds (Ae Class), as well as lowering management fees for online-exclusive bonds and equity-linked securities (ELS), with a focus on converting these savings into direct customer benefits.
The Light Bond Products have achieved over 100 billion won in sales just one month after the launch of 14 offerings. This figure is more than double last year's average monthly sales of non-face-to-face bonds. The Light ELS, which boasts increased coupon rate competitiveness, is also seeing continued inflows from individual investors across 15 different products. In the public offering fund sector, upfront sales fees for non-face-to-face public offering funds have been reduced to 0%, and subscription rates are currently rising, particularly for bond-mixed products. Shinhan Investment & Securities plans to continue expanding its lineup of new public offering funds in the future.
Additionally, until September 30, Shinhan Investment & Securities will hold an event for customers who purchase a cumulative total of 10 million won or more of financial products (funds, bonds, ELS) via the Light Products menu, offering department store gift certificates to winners selected by lottery.
