INOX Advanced Materials Expands Supply of Advanced Materials to SpaceX
INOX Advanced Materials announced on the 13th that it is expanding its supply of advanced materials to the global aerospace company SpaceX.
The company reported that its cumulative sales to SpaceX from January to July this year have already surpassed its total annual sales to SpaceX last year. Starting in June, purchase order (PO) volumes from SpaceX have increased, and the company continues to expand its supply of materials for the aerospace sector.
The material that INOX Advanced Materials supplies to the aerospace industry is electromagnetic interference (EMI) carrier tape, used in satellite rockets and low Earth orbit satellite projects. This is one of the key high-performance materials that blocks temperature fluctuations and electromagnetic interference.
INOX Advanced Materials is also focusing on expanding its lineup of materials for next-generation high-tech industries, such as AI semiconductors and physical AI. Hyunwoo Park, a researcher at Shinhan Investment Corp., stated, "The company is in the early stages of diversifying its front-end markets into semiconductors, batteries, aerospace, and defense, and is expected to gradually expand its potential markets."
