The WHE 2026 Organizing Committee (Co-Chairs: Kim Jaehong, Chairman of the Korea Hydrogen Alliance, and Jung Daejin, Chairman of the Korea Automobile & Mobility Association) announced on the 13th that the event will be held to coincide with the 5th Hydrogen Day (November 2), a legally designated commemorative day.
This year's event will build upon the "Global Industry Joint Statement (Call to Action)" released in May by the Hydrogen Council, a consortium of leading global hydrogen companies. At the opening ceremony, major Korean hydrogen companies and others will participate and announce the "Joint Declaration on Hydrogen Industry Advancement."
The subsequent conference will provide a macro-level overview of the current status and outlook of the global hydrogen industry, present the hydrogen policies of key countries, and discuss core issues by sector, including production, transport and storage, trade, and standards.
Attendees are listening to the speaker's presentation at the WHE 2025 conference.

The "Hydrogen Deep Dive" session will focus on five key areas: project investment, clean hydrogen production using low-carbon power, hydrogen trade, green ammonia (storage, transport), and international standards.
The Country Day session will feature major hydrogen-producing nations, including China, which has emerged as the largest producer and consumer of hydrogen, and Canada, highlighting each country's hydrogen policies and industrial trends.
The exhibition, which will take place in Exhibition Halls 7 and 8, will showcase the latest technologies and new products across the hydrogen value chain—including production, storage, transportation, and utilization. This year, around 200 companies from approximately 20 countries—including Canada, Japan, China, and the Czech Republic—will participate. The event will expand to focus on B2B activities, facilitating investment cooperation and business matching between domestic and international companies.
The organizing committee plans to facilitate one-on-one matching programs and meetings between domestic and foreign companies through the participation of overseas investment agencies in the international pavilion. In addition, large corporations that do not have exhibition booths will be able to take part in purchasing consultations as buyers.
Other special events will include the "Hydrogen Economy Policy Advisory Committee General Meeting," the "H2 Business Partnership Fair," and the "H2 Innovation Awards."
