Power hitter Lexi Thompson (USA) has announced that she is pregnant.
On August 12, 2026 (Korea Standard Time), Thompson shared on her social media a sonogram photo of her daughter, who is expected to be born in February next year, together with her husband Max Provost. She wrote, "The most wonderful chapter of our lives is about to begin. We are very blessed and grateful."

Despite only playing in 13 tournaments last year, Thompson still made it to the LPGA Tour's season-ending Tour Championship. This year, she has reached the cut in two out of the five tournaments she played. Her best finish of the season was a tie for 12th at the major tournament, the Chevron Championship, in April.
