Cheongdo County Produces 21 Strawberry Experts: "Cultivating with Data"
Cheongdo County (Governor Park Kwonhyun) held the "2026 Advanced Strawberry Specialist Training Program Graduation Ceremony" on August 11 at the Agricultural Education Center of Cheongdo County Agricultural Technology Center, with around 25 graduates and related officials in attendance.
The 2026 Advanced Strawberry Specialist Training Program was conducted over a total of 15 sessions (62 hours), from April 28 to the day of the ceremony, with four-hour classes held every Tuesday at the Agricultural Technology Center and on-site locations.
The curriculum consisted of advanced theoretical courses and hands-on field training. Experts in each field, including professional researchers, agricultural instructors, university professors, and leading farmers, participated as instructors. The program covered topics such as: ▲ Strawberry physiology and nursery cultivation techniques ▲ Diagnosis of diseases and pests, and nursery disease and pest management ▲ Pre- and post-transplant management and high-quality production techniques ▲ Advanced content encompassing the entire strawberry cultivation cycle from nursery to transplanting and harvesting.
