NC announced on the 11th that, on a consolidated basis, it posted revenue of 770.5 billion won, operating profit of 173.9 billion won, and net profit of 131.2 billion won in the second quarter of this year.
Revenue and operating profit increased by 101% and 1,053%, respectively, compared to the same period last year. The operating margin reached 23%.
By region, revenue distribution was 48% in Korea, 25% in Asia, and 27% in North America and Europe. Overseas revenue share rose for the fourth consecutive quarter, accounting for 52% of total revenue.
PC game revenue hit a record high for a single quarter for the second consecutive quarter, reaching 343.8 billion won. "Lineage Classic" continued its strong performance, achieving revenue of 185.5 billion won. As of the end of June, cumulative revenue over 140 days since its launch totaled 269.1 billion won. "Lineage Remastered" also grew 18% quarter-over-quarter, demonstrating the competitiveness of NC's core intellectual property (IP).
Mobile game revenue totaled 185.3 billion won, showing a slight increase from the previous quarter. "Lineage M" grew by 4% quarter-over-quarter, maintaining solid growth despite intensifying competition in the mobile gaming sector.
Revenue from mobile casual games was 169.7 billion won, accounting for 22% of total revenue. The global mobile game platform JustPlay was included in consolidated reporting for the first time.
