Gyeongbuk Education Scholarship Foundation Awards 10 Million Won in Scholarships to 10 Descendants of Independence Patriots
The Gyeongbuk Education Scholarship Foundation (Chairman: Lim Jong-sik, Superintendent of the Gyeongbuk Office of Education) awarded scholarships to 10 descendants of independence patriots on August 11 at Meeting Room 307 of the Gyeongbuk Office of Education.
With scholarship recipients, their parents, and representatives from the Gyeongbuk branch of the Liberation Association in attendance, each student received a 1 million won scholarship for a total of 10 million won. The event honored the noble sacrifices and patriotism of the ancestors who dedicated themselves to the nation’s independence, and encouraged the students to grow as future leaders of Korea.
The Gyeongbuk Education Scholarship Foundation has been supporting descendants of independence patriots with scholarships every year since 2019.
