KOSME Offers Free Enrollment in Group Accident Insurance for Performance-Based Severance Subscribers

The Korea SMEs and Startups Agency (KOSME) announced on August 11 that it will provide free enrollment in its ‘2026 Group Accident Insurance’ program to employees participating in the Performance-Based Severance Subscription Program, so that they can feel secure both at work and in their daily lives.
The Performance-Based Severance Subscription Program pays out performance bonuses to core personnel who have served long-term at a company, using funds jointly contributed by the company and its key employees. Major products under this program include the Tomorrow Chaeum Subscription Program and the Preferential Savings Subscription Program for Incumbent Employees of Small and Medium Enterprises.
This group accident insurance support initiative was launched to alleviate the economic burden caused by unexpected accidents or disasters, and to strengthen the social safety net. Up to 30,000 subscription members are eligible for support, and KOSME will cover the entire insurance premium.
In particular, KOSME has enhanced customer convenience by upgrading its system so that new enrollees can join the group accident insurance at the initial application stage for the Performance-Based Severance Subscription Program. Existing members can also apply via the Tomorrow Chaeum Subscription homepage until the budget is exhausted.
