Those who enrolled without government contributions, receiving only tax exemptions on interest income—such as applicants with a total annual salary exceeding 60 million won but not exceeding 75 million won—numbered around 12,000 (0.9%).
By age group, those aged 25–29 accounted for about 524,000 enrollees (37.8%), the largest portion. This was followed by those aged 30–34, with roughly 510,000 (36.8%), and those aged 19–24, with around 290,000 (20.9%).
There were 796,000 applicants who did not pass the eligibility screening. Of these, more than half—409,000—either did not obtain consent to verify the income information of household members or failed to submit the required documents needed to confirm household status.
The number of applicants who did not meet the individual income requirements was 211,000, while 165,000 exceeded the household income threshold. Young people who did not complete the consent or document submission process for household members during the initial recruitment period may reapply during the additional enrollment period and will be subject to an eligibility review.
