As a result, export agreements worth 3.1 million USD were signed, with an additional 1.9 million USD in export consultations taking place separately.
Inter-organizational cooperation to boost exports was also pursued. Hamyang County entered into a "Business Agreement for Promoting the Export of Hamyang Agri-Food Products" with NH Nonghyup Trade Ho Chi Minh Representative Office and the Hamyang Branch of NH Nonghyup Central Cooperative. The parties agreed to cooperate on expanding local distribution networks, developing new sales channels, and supporting marketing efforts.
The delegation to the exhibition included 15 representatives, such as Hamyang County Mayor Jin Byeong-young, members of the Hamyang County Council, and officials from Nonghyup.
Based on the export agreements and buyer consultations secured at the exhibition, Hamyang County plans to expand into the Vietnamese and broader Southeast Asian markets.
In addition, the county will continue to support exports by identifying promising products suited to local consumer preferences and distribution conditions, as well as promoting products overseas and seeking new buyers.
Hamyang County Mayor Jin Byeong-young stated, "Through this exhibition, we confirmed the potential for the region’s agri-food products to enter overseas markets," adding, "We will broaden our export base by developing products suitable for local markets and expanding distribution channels."
